Joe Martins is a guitarist who loves the craft of music. His love of music stretches back to his childhood and spans across many genres. Growing up a guitar was always nearby, music often filled his childhood home and quickly became a way for Joe to express himself in ways he struggled to do with words. He believes music is an extension of the human experience.

From intimate solo acoustic guitar performances, to the fast paced riffs of punk rock , to the intricacies of classical guitar quartets and ensembles - Joe is always seeking to broaden his musical and artistic horizons, regardless of genre or medium. Because of this, tapping into the local music scene came naturally and he has found a strong sense of community to be an important aspect of his life.

He is dedicated to understanding his instrument and demystifying its complexity.
